Be nice to me, I may be your nurse one day =)

I still have a long way to go, but I have FINALLY started my journey towards becoming a nurse! I’m just in my CNA class right now, but it’s required to be able to go to the next step, LPN. Which is required to become an RN, etc. My ultimate goal is to become an NP *Nurse Practitioner* but we’ll see. LOL! For now though, I want to *after I get my CNA’s* become an LPN and possibly take a break and work for a little while before becoming an RN, we’ll see though. I may just go ahead and take the next year and finish my RN so that I know it will still all be fresh in my memory, but the reason I was thinking about stopping first, is because I know the experience would help me a lot when it comes down to taking my NCLEX-RN. And God knows I could use the difference of pay between LPN and RN. haha

So far, I have a B in the class. We’ve already had homework and 1 exam, but I have skill checks Monday, then Exam 2 Wed, then the next Monday a quiz over abbreviations. Shew, it’s a lot, but I know if I do like I have been *studying everyday and not just cramming the night before* that I’ll be fine. =)

I do plan on writing a lot along my journey, so make sure to keep stopping by to see how things are going.
