Craziness!!!

So sorry it’s been so long since I’ve posted a blog! Alyssa went into the hospital not long after I posted the last one, and we were in there for a week, and it’s just been insane since then!!

The most recent thing that happened was I wrecked my car!! Alyssa slept through the whole thing and didn’t get hurt at all! =) All that happened to me was a few bruises and being sore afterwards. So, we were very blessed! The car still may not survive. LOL! So, I’m without a car at the moment until we can either fix the car or get a new one. When I say “we” I’m refering to myself and my parents. They just started remodeling though, so they can’t really afford to buy me a new car and I sure can’t afford it right now, so idk what I’m going to do! =( Classes start on the 18th of this month for me, so I’m going to have to do something!!! Sigh. They are going to let me borrow the hummer to go to class I think though, so that’s great! =)

Alyssa has 2 teeth now!! It’s crazy! She’s 7 months old as of today too! She’s growing up too fast! I love her so much!!!

Well, it’s her nap time so I gotta be her to sleep! I’ll write again soon!

Montana Meth Project

So, I recently discovered the Montana Meth Project. They have billboards and commericals that you wouldn’t usually see. They aren’t “normal” but show the reality of what happens due to Meth use. Some are hard to watch, but I think it’s something that needs to be seen across the U.S. Maybe it will change someones mind about trying or continuing the use of meth or any other drug. Drug abuse is a major problem everywhere, and needs to be addressed.

I don’t live in Montana, but Meth is a problem where I live too. However, the largest problem we have in Kentucky is Pain Killers. Those cause people to do things like what is seen in the commericals and billboards as well. It’s not just meth that does it. Hopefully the Monana Meth Project will get National coverage and make a difference in the way people view drug abuse.

Hunger Awareness Video

I was lucky enough to be apart of a video that was for a very important cause. Fighting to End Hunger.

Vlog shortage

Sorry about not posting a vlog in the past couple days. I have one, it’s about done being edited. But when you’re as busy as I am, at throwing Alyssa in on top of that, it’s hard to film, edit, and then post videos everyday. I do film daily, it yet doesn’t always make it to the editing process or the publishing. Oh well.

This boy eats a herbano pepper and his reaction to it is absolutely hilarious. I laughed until I cried when I watched this. I really hope he’s okay though!!

Busy Busy

Sorry about not posting lately, I’ve just been crazy busy.

My best friend Jessica’s aunt had cancer. I’ve known Jess since Kindergarten, so her family is like my family and visa versa. Jess would always call and keep me informed of how she was doing. It just kept getting worse. Well, Jess called and told me she was coming in, she said her aunt was given 48 hours. So, she comes in and Alyssa and I go over with her. She and her daughter stayed with me and Alyssa at the apartment, but 99% of the time we were busy. basically we just slept there. Anyway, the next 3 days (she lived past the 48 hours) we stayed there with her and the rest of the family. Saturday was Bre’s prom so Alyssa and I came over to see her all dressed up before they left. I wasn’t here 20 minutes when Jen (jess’s sister) called me and told me she had passed and asked me to come back over there. So, mom told me to leave Alyssa with her (thanks mom) so I rushed back as soon as I could get there (thank goodness no cops were out) and we all just held each other and cried. They came and got her aunt and I believe that was the worst part for us all (besides the funeral). We stayed there with everyone that evening.

Oh, Jess’s uncle wasn’t there (her aunts brother) because her cousin was graduating Sunday in a different state. Anyway, after that night we spent the next few days at the funeral home and the funeral was Wed. That was rough because it was what made it real. She was really gone. She’s in a much better place and isn’t hurting anymore, so that helps. It was the hardest on Jess’s mom. That was her only sister! They were close too. I couldn’t imagine how she felt/feels. I don’t know what I would do if I lost Bre. Not only is she my only sister, but she’s the only sibling I have! I’d go crazy!!!

I left the names out because it’s a personal situation. A lot if people read my blog, so I want to keep their feelings in consideration.

Anyway, today is dads birthday and we are taking him out today, so I better get ready. LOL I already have Alyssa bathed and ready and she’s taking a nap, so I gotta take a shower while I have the chance! LOL

New apartment

I moved into an apartment since I wrote last. I have had the apartment since November, however right after getting the apartment I went into the hospital because I went into preterm labor. I spent from then until January in the hospital so that they could keep me from having Alyssa. She still came 7 weeks early, but that’s not as bad as it would have been!

Anyway, I really like the apartment! The reason I haven’t moved in sooner is due to Alyssa having colic. I really needed help with her, so I stayed with mom and dad. Now she is over the colic and is actually sleeping all night! So, I decided it was time.

She’s starting to do really well here. at first she wasn’t sleeping that great, it would take her until real late to get to sleep, but now she’s doing better. She still sleeps better at mom and dads, but that’s understandable, that was her home until last week and she’ll be 4 months on the 5th! Crazy, it seems like I had her yesterday!!!

Well, she’s getting fussy (it’s bedtime) so I better go!

Alyssa, Apartment, Avon

I finally got all the furniture in my apartment! I’m so excited. I still need a kitchen table, but that’s about it.

I absolutely love my apartment! Don’t get me wrong, being at mom and dads is great too… but once you’re out on your own, you get used to having your own space and stuff… it’s hard to go back. I still go visit all the time though lol.

Alyssa is cutting teeth love her heart. I’m giving her tylenol for it. Her little gums are swollen and she’s slobbering everywhere… it’s not too bad yet, but it’s getting there. I try to keep a bib on her now lol.

Someone told me *maybe one of you* that rubbing baby benadryl on her gums would help, I heard the same for baby tylenol.

Any other suggestions?

Update

Wow, it’s been almost a month since I wrote last! I keep meaning to. I’m sorry.
Anyway, Alyssa is actually sleeping through the night. Well, she wakes up somewhere around 5:00-7:30am to eat and goes back to sleep, but that’s it. I LOVE it. I actually get to sleep now haha!
She is sick right now though. hopefully she will get better soon.
We are at the apartment right now. I’m still trying to get everything unpacked haha! I don’t stay here right now and it’s so hard to get over here at all and when I come I have to bring her and that makes it almost impossible to get anything done! Haha
I’m gonna go try though. I am going to (hopefully) go and get my Internet hooked up over here. That way I can maybe start staying here some. I can’t make it without my Internet! I gotta be able to get on the computer! LOL!
Well, I’m gonna go TRY and work LOL!
